Comparison: Microsoft Surface Tablet
and Apple New iPad
Microsoft has unveiled two Surface tablets based on Windows 8 operating
system. The thinner and lightweight model of the Surface tablet runs on the
Windows RT operating system. It is a rival to the Apple’s new iPad that was launched in March. Apple
Inc makes the hardware and software and takes the performance of the final
product to a great extent.
The company has revolutionized the
market with its smartphones and tablets. Even Google Inc may experiment on a
similar product after acquiring Motorola Mobility this year. Microsoft is now
forced to try such an approach with the Windows 8 operating system. Here is a
brief comparison of the Apple new iPad an Microsoft
Surface tablet.
