Nokia Lumia 610 launched in India for Rs 12,999
As we
reported yesterday, Nokia has launched the Lumia 610 smartphone in India. The
Windows Phone based device is priced at Rs 12,999. The handset was announced in
February at theMobile World Congress. India is one
among the countries to get the handset at first.
Speaking
about the specifications, the Lumia 610 smartphone is based on the Windows
Phone Tango operating system. It comes with an 800 MHz processor, 8 GB internal
memory and 256 MB RAM. The handset features a 5 MP camera as well.
The Lumia
610 comes preloaded with Nokia apps like Music, Maps and
Drive. It comes in four different color options like Cyan, Magenta, Black and
White.
Earlier,
the handset was reported to be launched in April for a price
in India of Rs 11,000. Then, the firm mentioned that it will launch the
Lumia 610 and 900 handsets in late July or early August. But, it
seems to have released it well before its expected time.
